Hank’s Oyster Bar Dishes Out Fried Oysters for Brunch

Happy hour at Hank's Oyster Bar isn't actually happy hour, it's "oyster hour." The name swap makes sense for Hank's, given that the eatery is known (and named for) its stellar selection of fresh oysters. From 3 to 7 p.m. in the bar area and 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the dining room, the weekday oyster hour offers a rotating lineup of oysters on the half shell, sake oyster shooters, and fried oysters, along with other seafood and drink specials.

If you can't make it to Hank's for the oyster hour, come for brunch on Saturday or Sunday morning. The eatery entices brunch-goers with dishes you don't typically see on a morning menu, like the popular fried oysters and lobster bisque. Crab cake eggs Benedict, shrimp and grits, and the fried oyster frittata are just a few of the other options. Add a bloody mary with peppered vodka or a mimosa with basil syrup for the full Hank's experience.
