Balkan Grill departs from your typical deli with a lineup of European and Mediterranean sandwiches, kebabs, and even Turkish pizza. The Turkish pizza is called lahmacun, and it features a thin crust topped with beef and veggies, onions and tomatoes, and a spritz of lemon.
If you're interested in one of the signature sandwiches, try the cevapcici. Two pieces of freshly baked bread hug grilled house-made sausages, tomatoes, onions, and kaymak, a creamy type of Turkish cheese. You can also try the steak sammy, which showcases Mediterranean-style grilled steak plus sauteed mushrooms, onions, peppers, and tomatoes. When it comes to kebabs, Balkan Grill offers all of the classics, such as the Iskender kebab (grilled lamb and beef) and the Adana kebab (a minced meat brochette). Save some room for a dessert such as baklava or rice pudding.
