Slip your hips into a fabric hammock and glide through an aerial yoga class at Local Motion Studio. It's just one of the many unique fitness classes designed to help pupils have fun as they sweat away calories. With the hammock for support, you'll move into traditional yoga poses, as well as asanas that are impossible to achieve on your mat.
If you love the challenge of aerial yoga, you'll probably enjoy the equally intense barre classes. Your feet will stay on the ground at a barre class (for the most part), but the instructor will push your body to the brink as you repeat small, targeted movements inspired by Pilates, ballet, and other types of dance. Barre works your body from head to toe. So do many of the other fitness classes, like boot camp, cardio flow, and HIIT.
