When Olivia Sheldon created the Positive Energy Yoga program, she started with a very simple fact: everybody, and every body, is different. She reasoned that an exercise program should account for the differences in ability, comfort, and flexibility from the very beginning, which means that she adjusts her yoga practice for each individual’s level. This helps reduce the sense of frustration that discourages lots of people from sticking to an exercise regime (particularly when it involves public classes).
