Try a Class With Positive Energy Yoga

When Olivia Sheldon created the Positive Energy Yoga program, she started with a very simple fact: everybody, and every body, is different. She reasoned that an exercise program should account for the differences in ability, comfort, and flexibility from the very beginning, which means that she adjusts her yoga practice for each individual’s level. This helps reduce the sense of frustration that discourages lots of people from sticking to an exercise regime (particularly when it involves public classes).

Interested? Check out one of Olivia’s weekly sessions at JWTumbles, Yoga in Daily Life, or at Solutions Physical Therapy in Alexandria and pay the $20 drop-in fee to get a sense of what Positive Energy is all about. You can also sign up for one of the special topics workshop sessions, which are offered on issues ranging from self defense to myofascial release. Visit the website for rates and scheduling information, or search for Positive Energy Yoga on Facebook.
